Classes before 10 AM are evil!

Until recently, every once-in a while I would say to myself "hey, that 9 AM class looks like fun. I think I can handle getting up that early for a class like that. Well, guess what? I can't.

After years of trying and failing at early morning classes, I looked at my record. I've taken three or four classes in my college career which started before 10 AM. For every one I had a hard time getting up for the class. I was often late or I just plain skipped. As a result, I did poorly on homework and/or tests. I didn't get a grade above a B- in any one of those classes. The conclusion?

Don't take classes which start before 10 AM!

And I don't want you to get the idea that I'm lazy or something. I've tried, I really have. But it always ends in heartbreak when I get my grades at the end of the term. Even if I thought I was doing okay, the report card invariably comes back with a big fat B- (or worse) on it.
